1. My son has found his nostrils. And in typical boy fashion has started digging around all up in there. We’ve been working on recognizing where body parts are lately {via the heads shoulders knees and toes song}. As you can tell by the photo, he’s pretty proud of himself. What a ham.

2. I got the chance to run Hood to Coast last weekend. {The largest relay in the world….1,050 teams running 195 miles}. I DID IT but I’m tired just thinking about it. My legs are sore.

3. Enter brownies. Since I ran that relay, I’ve had the sudden craving for any and all brownies.

If eating brownies is wrong, I don’t want to be right.

4. I’m getting back into makeup. Having babies throws off my regular day to day routine and it usually takes me a while {read 1.5 years} to adjust to my new normal. Right now I average putting makeup on 3 days a week. Buuuuuuut I did spend an undisclosed amount of money on some new products, so that may get bumped up to 4 or 5 times. 🙂

5. My kids are just the cutest. Blake got a haircut last week and some new hand me down clothes from his cousins and Brooke is just my typical girly girl! This picture was taken before church this past Sunday.

6. Today we’re leaving again for the Oregon coast for the long Labor Day weekend! This is a Brennan tradition that I married into. Aw shucks. We’re just getting some last minute stuff together and then we’ll be off this afternoon! Lucky for you guys, the vacation rental house has wifi! No, you can’t get rid of the THAT easily 😉

So, new recipe coming up tomorrow!

Oh gosh Lauren, you’re kids are adorable! We’re off to Cultus Lake for the long weekend for some half-assed camping (there’s a pool and a cafeteria – YES!) Have fun on the coast!

Absolutely adorable! I hope you have a lovely time away in Oregon. I can’t wait to visit there someday (just have to save up for a plane fare from Australia).
Also, I think you definitely deserve brownies after any and all race participation 🙂
