Halloween Oreo Frozen Hot Chocolate

You know what sucks? Ripping off a bandaid. It hurts and it doesn’t make me very happy. You know what also sucks? Running. Especially when you have busted ankles. Except deep down I’m secretly ok with the not running thing. Sore ankles makes for a good excuse. Cheers to all you other elliptical-worker-outers.

Another sucky {but totally awesome thing} is downing 9 of these and getting a brain freeze. It’s so good, but so bad. My 3 year old was quite confused because she drank hers with a straw at a moderate speed….like any other normal person… and looked at me funny while I cringed and hit my forehead. Do you know how hard it is to explain a brain freeze to a 3 year old?

C’est tres difficile.

And there’s your french lesson for the day. You’re welcome.

Anyways, what I’m trying to say is the brain freeze is worth it because this frozen goodness is basically a million oreos in liquid form. I think hospitals should start hooking this kind of stuff up to everyone’s IV’s. I think it would make us all healthier and bring world peace.

In my brain, things like this happen. Don’t hate, appreciate.

If you follow me on Instagram, you will have noticed me post a picture of ย a package of Halloween Oreos. I’m throwing them into everything these days and cannot stop. So consider this a warning.

In the mean time, let’s make another Frozen Oreo Hot Chocolate.

Start by plugging in your beautiful KitchenAid blender. This is mine. I call her Bertha. Not really.

Pour in some milk,

Blender with milk

some ice,

a packet of hot chocolate mix,

Hot cocoa mix

some sweetened cocoa powder,

Cocoa powder

and 5 Halloween oreos.

The first thing I would make would have to be a green monster smoothie. I have some bananas waiting in the freezer at this very moment!

I absolutely love smoothies especially with wild berries! My family and I pick raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries. We make jams and jelly but also freeze large quantities to have berries until the next pickin’ season! A new blender would be fantastic, smoothies all winter long!

I follow you on pinterest, twitter and facebook and now follow kitchenaid on twitter and facebook. If I win this blender the first thing I would make is your strawberry cheesecake milkshake I have been wanting to try! I found it the other day and LOVE strawberry cheesecake! Sounds perfect!

The first thing that would be made would be a fruit smoothie. My mom makes one every morning for breakfast and needs a new blender, so this would be perfect to give her!

I will be making smoothies if I win the blender. Mine is over 10 years old and smells of burning rubber when I use it!!!! I could use a nice KitchenAid one.

Smoothies with tons of fruit. As delightful as your frozen treats looks, I’m hoping for a blender to cut down on my Jamba Juice habit
