On Saturday, we had a little party for Blake because he turned FOUR!!

Ever since we had his party, he’s been announcing to anyone who’ll listen “I’m not THREE, I’m FOUR!

Brooke was feeling under the weather, so we uninvited those people we had originally invited to our small get together. (Sorry guys!!)

Here are some of the photos I snapped from our fun and sugar-filled afternoon 🙂

All the presents I wrapped were held together with packing tape because I had no scotch tape anywhere.

Can’t really take a normal picture when I ask him to smile. Ha!! This is very normal for Blake.

Blake

Out of all my kids, Blake is the happiest and goofiest one. He loves to be silly and loves to have a good time. He always wants to go outside, or jump off the couch, or run, or go to a friend’s house, or have a snack, or play! He is a busy busy boy and when he has his mind set on something, he has a hard time changing it. He is tender hearted, just like Brooke, so when he thinks you’re being mean to him, he gets upset about it. Mean faces from his sister are especially disheartening for this guy.

Blake loves to laugh and has *the best* laugh. His teachers at preschool always comment on how happy he is, and one in particular always asks “how are you, smiley boy?” when we arrive for the day. His favorite thing to do at preschool is play in the wood chips with construction vehicle toys. He LOVES digging in the dirt, looking for rocks, playing in the sand, etc. etc. Getting dirty doesn’t phase him in the slightest.

Most of the time, he pretends he’s a baby doggie, or some other animal instead of Blake. He really likes to be silly, and the vast majority of the time, I need to tell him “it’s time to be serious now.”

Basically, he is all boy and I love him a lot!!

Here are some of his answers to these interview questions I asked him the other day 🙂
