Enjoy your long weekend!
Worked, helped friends move, did house and yard chores, and enjoyed my evenings knitting and watching Downton Abbey dvd’s. Very enjoyable weekend.
We went to Beech Bend Amusement Park, grilled out and worked on building up our garden spot!
I spent the weekend putting up a new fence in the front end of the farm…ok, I really just supervised BUT it was hard work ๐
Slept late (really late), finished a book. ordered takeout. Watched Diana Nyad on TV, and started another book. Perfect day for me, no stress at all.
Spent the day with the grandsons and did a little shopping. Thanks for the give away and congrats on the extra sleep!
Had some friends over for ribs on the grill, corn on the cob and garlic biscuits. And of course apple pie for dessert. Also watched the Red Sox game on TV.
Good friends, baseball and the dogs. Doesn’t get much better than that. Hope your baby sleeps long hours every night in the future.
Cleaned my house today- it was rainy in NJ. Glad that I got that done!!
My husband and I spent time at the beach enjoying the beautiful warm sunshine!
I went to Lowe’s. Worst store!! Why doesn’t anyone know where anything is?!?!
We took in two week-old kittens that my dad found abandoned next to our church. They have been hard work, but are SUPER cute! We already have a cat and can’t keep them, but we have a friend that’s going to take them since she just put her cat down last week ๐ Quite the unexpected excitement we’ve had this weekend!
Spent time with my family, made homemade burgers and oven fries, did a little food shopping and of course relaxed!
Saturday we took a drive to the high desert, stopped for prime rib lunch & ended our day looking at motor homes (did you know you can write it off as a second home on your taxes?!). Sunday I did laundry and cooked. Monday I made chicken jerky for my dogs and took a long nap ๐
Friends (2 women and 5 kids) drove up to the mountains to spend time with me. We hiked in the forest, ate, molded with play clay, ate, decorated ceramic pieces to take home, ate, walked the dogs, ate, slept in, ate, sat on the deck and talked. Did I mention that we ate?
Had a GREAT weekend preparing for school tomorrow. Went to the gym, the beach, for a long walk, and to a teacher store. I made homemade pesto, kale chips, and granola bites. I prepared seating charts, created a “get to know your teacher” video for my website. Best of all, I spent some time each day with some really awesome friends! Feeling blessed as we head into a new school year! Thanks, Lauren!
We went RV camping and did a jet boat ride on the Rogue River ๐
I watched my husband coach his first high school football game, hung out with some of the coaches and their families, almost finished registering for our first baby, and am now currently working on lesson plans for this upcoming week. Nothing too exciting, but overall, a really good weekend!

We had my son’s 5th birthday party – it was solar system themed!
We drove 400 + miles to spend quality time with our first grandson! (3 1/2 years old!) Worth ever mile! ๐
Caught up on paperwork, made phone calls to family, and watched baseball on TV.
Cleaned, organized, saw a movie, relaxed and shopped for a new car. Thanks for the chance to win!
I spent the weekend cooking and baking – stocking the freezer!

We had a relaxed, lazy weekend celebrating our 40th anniversary.
Just had a leisurely day with my family! Much needed. ๐
My family and I got together for a last BBQ to end the summer and a farewell to me as I move back to college! Bittersweet but it was a great holiday weekend!
I worked since I’m a pre-school teacher and there’s never any REAL day off there! Then, I helped my husband with HIS job so he might have to work a few less hours. ๐ Now, I’m waiting for my son to finish football practice (first game tomorrow) so we can have dinner! I’d love to have a copy of your book!
Relaxed and hung out with friends and family near the Chesapeake Bay.
Went on a bike ride with the family!
I went 2 hours north and stayed with my parents and sisters! Got to spend lots of time with my beautiful 8 mo old niece!
Saturday was “mom” day. Visited my mother-in-law in the hospital and luckily was able to take her home. Visited my mom as well. Then finished off the day with a cookout with friends! Sunday was lazy with errands and a cookout/pool party in the evening. Finished off with a round of golf today!
We went to the beach with our family and I got to dip my little one’s toes in the ocean for the first time! (Also have a 4 month old little boy!)

My brother was home for the weekend so we spent as much time as we could with him before he is deployed to the Philippines! We ate at our fav seafood place…and had fried pickles (major pregnancy craving) and had an ‘appetizer party’ at my grandma’s last night! Today..we did unfun stuff…organizing closets.

Had a Hokie Football party and went to the pool a few last times before it closes!
I was sick all weekend – BOO HOO! ๐
The highlight of my weekend was hosting a get-together with a few friends to swap healthy recipes and tips. We sat outside under the gazebo, sampled some new recipes, and had great conversation. ๐
Just cleaning out & giving away.
Helped my friend with wedding stuff, trying out her rehearsal dinner caterer and canceling her hair appt after 1 disastrous trial and rebooking with a new person that she feels more confident in. Still need to find jewelry for her wedding for myself now.
