Making Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix is easier than you think. Enjoy this rich, frothy treat on a cold day.

Update on kidney watch 2014: the medicine is working! I see the light at the end of the tunnel, kids. This infection is moving its way out of my system and my life is slowly normalizing.

It’s about freaking time.

Kidney infections are no joke. I don’t wish this upon anyone. Healthy kidneys for all!

And you get a kidney and you get a kidney….everybody gets a kidney!!!

It’s a real shame that Oprah isn’t on TV anymore. This would totally make her favorite things episode.

Anyways, today’s recipe is crazy easy. And, I think pretty darn tasty too. If you have sugar and cocoa in your pantry, then you are good to go. All you need is a cold day and some hot milk.

Oh wait. I have all those things already.

Waaaay ahead of the game ya’ll. Incase you want to make homemade hot chocolate at home this winter, I got your back!

Here’s how to make it:

Measure out your sugar, cocoa and mini marshmallows in a large bowl.

Stir it all together to mix it evenly and then store it in an airtight container.

Yeah, that’s it. Easy peasy.

To actually make hot chocolate, mix 2 tablespoons of mix with 8-12 ounces of hot milk. Stir it together, let things get all frothy and enjoy! Slurp it all up and enjoy, folks.

This is in my pantry, ready to go for the next freezing cold months. {I hate the cold. Have I mentioned that? Like, ew. I hate the cold.}

Anyways, the printable recipe is below! Enjoy, friends 🙂

Hope you’re warmer than me.
