Hello hello hello!
The time has come for another Stitch Fix box. I had a hard time with this one and am having second thoughts about what I kept and what I sent back. Womp womp. Any thoughts you have would be grand.
Here she blows:
Item #1: Papermoon Carillon Knit Top in XS- $48. Soft, comfortable, bright, light weight and just the kind of shirt I need for summer…mainly because it’s got some hot pink in it. The first thing Brooke said when I pulled this shirt out of my box was “you have to keep that mom” so I obliged.
Item #2: 19 Cooper Simba Tie Waist Top in XS- $58. Totally on the fence about this one! I’m not sure I love it anymore. When I first put it on I thought it was cute, but now it’s like “am I too old for shirts that tie in the front? Is that totally 1992?” So, I did keep it but am not sure I should have?! I’m so confused. Do you like this shirt?
Item #3: Le Lis Kailya Lace Back Knit Top in XS- $48. This is probably my favorite item out of all 5 things I got. It’s simple and I love it!! Mostly because:
Look how cute the back is!! The lace is ‘meh’ but the ruffled lower half made me fall in lurve. Easy keep.
Item numero quatro: Loveappella Ashur Dress in S- $78. Ok, guys. Orange, weird patterned skin tight dress. It had good stretch and was comfortable, but besides that was not flattering in the least. Sent this mother back.
Last thing I got: Le Lis Elyott Dress in S- $74. I like the idea of this dress. Like, I really do. But I’m just too hippy to pull it off. Plus the dots everywhere kind of gave me a headache if I looked too long. Overall, I just wasn’t feeling it, so I sent it back.
So, if you’re keeping track, that’s 3/5 kept….my typical average for stitch fix. That navy shirt though…..WORTH IT!

I love that you post your Stitch Fix arrivals. I look forward to seeing what’s come in every month even though it’s not for me. I should seriously sign up. Thanks for sharing 🙂
i think your choices were spot on.
Hi! Love that you share your pics. Here’s my opinion–#1–not a keeper for $48-collar is weird. You can find similar for less $$ # 2 I’m not loving it but I think age is a number and you can certainly wear shirts with ties in front but this one looks like it’s pooching in the front? Could be camera illusion. #3 love it!! #4 I love that dress but not the orange color and I think it looks great on you from the pic! #5 polka dots are my favorite 🙂 but I’m hippy too and can’t wear fit and flare but I think you look great! Once you decide to keep something, you can’t change your mind? Their prices seem a tad high… I’ve been on the fence about joining.
Love the navy dress 🙂 Really not sure about the pink striped shirt though, it seems a bit sheer and the collar is not gorgeous. Front tie shirt OUT. Good call about the navy shirt and orange dress.
Off to make zucchici lemon loaf 🙂
The hot pink is my favorite. I kind of hate the tie in front one, mostly because of the weird pocket. I’ve been wanting to try out StitchFix, it looks so fun! A bit pricey though.
Is it too late to send back #2? I agree with all your choices except I would’ve sent back the shirt as well. The orange dress grew on me, though totally understand where you’re coming from. So far I’m almost 80% with your keeps. 🙂
I am a big fan of shirts that tie in the front…I hope we’re not too old for them! 🙂 It looks great on you. My favorite in this box is the shirt with the pink stripes (#1)! So cute.
