Here we go again! Another Stitch Fix box 🙂 Woot. Please excuse my spray tan fiasco and these under/over developed photos. I was a *slight* hot mess trying to get my husband to take all these pictures in our backyard before the sun was completely gone.

Yes, I realize my face looks dirty in some and then completely washed out in others. Get used to it.

Item one: Collective Concepts Christie Cross-Front Ruffle Detail Tank in XS- $58. Loved the color, but didn’t like the ruffles or the elastic waistband?! I feel like this would be riding up all the time plus, it’s sleeveless so not my fave. Sent it back.

Second thing: LA MADE Alba Striped Short Sleeve Sweater in XS- $58. I was a little worried about this being a sweater and all for summertime, but it’s surprisingly light and not heavy in the least. Kept it!

Item numero trois: Mia Melon Paloma Back Cutout Jersey Top in XS- $54. I LOVED this shirt. Love love love it!

It’s so comfortable, it’s coral {a color I love!} and I love this back detail on it. Kept it!

Fourth item: 41Hawthorn Montgomery Solid Belted Shift Dress in XS- $68. Initially, I didn’t like this dress at all because I feel like it accentuated me in all the wrong places. But after having sent all the clothes back I didn’t like {this included}, then looking through all these photos, I’m having second thoughts. I probably should have kept this. Womp womp. Lesson learned.

Final item: Tart Kaiya Striped Belted Dress in S- $128. I liked this dress fine, but didn’t love it. Wasn’t crazy about the horizontal stripes, but loved how soft and comfortable it was. I liked the pink too. My husband really loved this dress and wanted me to keep it….but then saw the price and changed his mind! Lol! I do have some credits I could have used to purchase the dress, but I felt like I didn’t like it enough to keep it. So off it went back to Stitch Fix.

Overall, I kept 2/5 but wish I kept that darn black dress. Oh well. Better luck next time!

I would say stick with your gut. If you originally felt uncomfortable in it, that will show when you wear it. The best outfits are one that make you feel amazing! You look great in everything, though! Love your Stitch Fix posts.

Ooooh, good choice on sending the ruffles back. I’m not a ruffles gal, either. LOVE the back of that one shirt!

Elastic waist-banded shirts are not my favorite either. I fell in love with that top once I saw the cutout back. I love fun-back shirts! Also love the black dress.

I am very disappointed with what you get. The quality of construction doesn’t look very good. The black dress was very puckered between the lower buttons. Also it was too short waisted for you. That could be changed by moving belt to your waist, but over all the pieces looked less than crisp. Fine for wearing around the house to chase after small children but nothing that is going to make you feel pulled together or smartly dressed when you go out.

I agree with the previous comment – you have very nice, sculpted arms, so no need to shy from sleeveless for that reason! I know everyone has their spots they’re sensitive about, so if arms are your thing, then never mind. BUT… Just in case it helps… I see envious arms, not ones to hide 🙂 I love your recipes and enjoy following your posts… My son is about 2 weeks older than yours and I remember how nice it was to be reading about someone going through the same things during those first few months. Also, you helped me discover StitchFix. So…thanks!

Your arms are slim and sculpted. Sleeveless is a good look on you, but I guess we see things others don’t. The black dress was way too dowdy for you. That sleeve wasn’t the least flattering. The striped dress was worse. You made the right choices.

Thanks for sharing! I remember in an earlier post you said that you had asked them not to send sleeveless. I would request the same. Seems a little disappointing them keep sending sleeveless! Always enjoy reading your blog!
