I got my Stitch Fix box!!! So exciting, I know. Here’s what I got:

IMG_2082Item numero uno: Saffron V-Neck Dolman Sleeve Printed Top in XS- $78. This was a pretty comfy shirt and really soft, but I could not get over the extra fabric in the ribcage/armpit area. I look like a bat….or something that flies. It actually reminds me of webbed feet. Soooo, I did not keep this.IMG_2084Number 2: Melody Longsleeve Cowl Neck Dress in S- $58. This was also a nice dress with soft fabric, but a little too short and a little too tight. I think it’s meant to be form fitting with a bunch of ruching, but I wasn’t feeling it. I felt ‘meh’ about it, so I sent it back. *womp womp*IMG_2086Now onto this little number…..Valeria Chevron Print Shift Dress in S- $68. Ummmm, what are you thinking Stitch Fix? I mean, I like it if I tilt my head and squint a little but lets be honest, it’s kind of 70’s, no? Am I totally off? The fit was amazing and the fabric was comfy, but the pattern…..yikes. Sent this sucker back.IMG_2088Onto a…..blazer! This is the Toshi Contrast Detail Longsleeve Blazer in XS- $88. I wanted to love this, but it was tight in the arms and loose in the chest area {no surprise there…haha} so I sent it back. BUT, I sooooo wish it fit better so I could have kept it. Look how cute those polkadot sleeves are! Dang it. IMG_2097Ok, last thing: Violet Ponte Pencil Skirt in M- $98. I was skeptical at first looking at this skirt, but I tried it on and it fit perfectly. It has two zippers in the front that open to be pockets which is kind of awesome.IMG_2099Also, it’s slightly slimming, so I was like ” BAM. SOLD!”

So, there you have it. I kept 1/5. I’m probably only going to keep this up for a few more months to see if they can get my ‘style’ down. I’ve seen lots of my friends get clothes that they love and keep all 5 items, so I know it’s possible. WHY can’t that be me? C’mon!! Until December….

[…] else. And when/if I have another baby, it’ll be a great maternity top, too! I think it was Lauren that said this shirt reminded her of webbed feet and it totally does, but it’s comfortable […]

You look cute in all of that!! Which doesn’t count for much since you’re the one that has to like it enough to wear it, ha! After six boxes and only keeping one thing, I’m taking a break from StitchFix for a bit. It’s so fun but it was disappointing to never get anything I loved, and for those higher prices (and yes, higher quality), I really need to LOVE it so I know I’ll actually wear it. Hopefully your next box is better!

Good choice. I kind of like the chevron dress, but agree with you on the pattern…perhaps same style something more classic. I just got a blazer from AE and love it….similar to the one you tried on in the picture. You will get a lot of use from that pencil skirt.

I absolutely love the Chevron dress!! It looks fabulous on you…and I agree, brown tights and boots, ADORABLE!! I like the pencil skirt too but not as much as the Chevron dress…keep it keep it keep it!!

I haven’t gotten dresses or skirts — love the cowl neck dress on you! But you gotta feel comfortable in it. Hopefully your next box will have more things that you love. Isn’t stitch fix fun?

That first dress is cute but I agree, not quite right. There is something similar, but with a little more flare at ModCloth right now. It’s close cut but not unflattering at all. The Tasting Room Dress. Just my two cents!!
