So, this month’s Stitch Fix box arrived while I was in Chicago! Oops….so I had to hurry and decide which items to keep and which items to send back! Please excuse all these selfies including my wet hair and my husband’s Army gear in the background! LOL!

Here’s what I got:

IMG_1715Item numero uno: Ivy Zig-Zag Print Tab-Sleeve Blouse. I don’t have any chevron shirts in my wardrobe so I was drawn to this shirt immediately. It’s loose, but not too loose, so I kept this one. $68.IMG_1718Item 2: Conrad Textured Fit & Flare 3/4 Sleeve Dress. When I pulled this out of the box, I initially thought “what an ugly  granny dress!” but tried it on and ended up loving it! It was a little short for my liking, so I’ll have to wear some leggings with it, but overall, it fit like a glove and I love the 3/4 sleeves. IMG_1719I try all my clothes on before looking at the price tags, so falling in love with this and keeping it was a bit of a splurge for me. $98. IMG_1720Item 3: a coat!! This is the Jahana Funnell Collar Coat. Open this coat is pretty adorable, I have to say.IMG_1723But once I close it, that collar. HOLY MOLY. It’s big and uncomfortable. For $88, I sent it back.IMG_1726Here’s my 4th piece. Beau Windowpane Swing Skirt. Kind of retro and totally accentuated my hips in not a good way. $68. And I sent this sucker back.IMG_1730Last item I got: Sophia Skinny Jeans. Can you see those unfortunate love handles? Yeah, not so hot.IMG_1733But on the back of these, they say “you look pretty skinny”…..umm. No. LIARS!! These were $88 and I happily folded these back up and sent them back.

Overall, I kept 2/5 which seems to be a theme for me. Not bad, but I have yet to get a box that I completely LOVE. We shall see what November has in store.

Love the shirt! Super cute. I thought the jeans looked good on you though! I just got my 3rd stitch…the first 2 were a bit disappointing but I actually liked everything in the latest! Couldn’t afford to keep it all though. 😉

[…] right? It’s personalized fashion, so what someone else loves another may hate. Like this ugly tunic. One reviewer got a handful of clothes that I envied, so that gives me hope that Stitch Fix has a […]

That dress looks so good on you! I prefer to only like 2-3 of the items in my box, that way I feel better about spending the money on them!

I hope my fix this month is good. I haven’t been very impressed with mty first three 🙁 Actually the best one was my first one but all the items were way out of my price range even though I gave them lower ranged.

After 3 “fixes”, none of which I truly loved, I finally stopped my service. Also, they love sending black items. I kept telling them to send color and I still got a majority of black items. The dress you have is cute, though.
