As we speak….well technically as I type….my husband and father in law are busting out some walls in my kitchen and rebuilding them in different locations thus creating a laundry room and new pantry. And for kicks, they’re making the closet in the baby’s room bigger. Hope this ‘weekend project’ actually gets finished this weekend. Dirty kitchens don’t jive with me.

2. Speaking of dirty kitchens, my ecookbook is in full swing 🙂 I’m working on it with Heidi from Foodie Crush and it should be all ready to go end of April! So, my days consist of cooking and baking….as per usual.

3. Sometimes I get sick of staying home and cooking, so I venture out to the land of red and white and roam the aisles while eating popcorn. Yes, that’s fancy talk for Target. My 4 year old loves it, so why not? AND, they have chairs and couches for sale at the one I go to!! I “test” those babies out for 10 minute intervals while people watching. I’m a people watcher. It’s how I used to make it through half marathons. “That dudes’ shorts are unfortunately very high…how is he running so fast? Maybe his thighs don’t rub together like mine…

4.  Ok, back to the ecookbook for a minute: It’s going to have all the recipes I use day in and day out at my house. Nothing crazy like Enchilada Stuffed Mushrooms. These are going to be mostly new recipes to you that have never made it to my blog because they’ve been too overdone online.

6. MARK YOUR CALENDARS!! APRIL 29th! ECOOKBOOK!

Screen Shot 2013-02-28 at 8.06.39 PM7. I’m getting more and more baby gear together these days and it’s making me super excited for this little guy to pop out! So excited to see what he looks like. Also really excited to replace pink baby {that’s what Brooke calls her creepy looking baby} in that car seat with the real thing!

8. And here’s to hoping he looks a little cuter and slightly less chuck-like than pink baby.

9. My husband started a BLOG! I’m such a good influence! HAHAHAHAHAHA. Are you ready for this? His blog is called Gordon’s Greatest. So together we are the latest and greatest. I know, we are so cheesy.

9. His blog will definitely give you a better look at our family life–almost like a behind the scenes look. Sorta cool. Sorta ugly. Sorry in advance. Find him on Facebook or Twitter and say hi. I’m sure he’d love you forever.

10. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to get back to the lack of wall situation in my kitchen.

Happy Saturday 🙂

So excited for you ebook 🙂 I had a friend who would drop her kids off at Playland at Fred Meyer and then just go sit on the furniture and read a magazine. Brilliant!

I can’t wait for your Ecookbook, your recipes are always delicious and fun to make. Are you planning to make a real/printed cookbook for Grandma cooks like me? I love your site and recipes. Thanks!
