While I was in Austin, a few of us bloggers got together and checked out some seriously awesome bakeries. Sugar Mama’s was probably my favorite! They won Cupcake Wars a while back and I can totally see why! Just wait until you see some of these yummy goodies.
Of course going anywhere with bloggers is hilarious! Everyone is on their phone tweeting, instagramming and facebooking! I love this picture. L to R: Amanda, Jenny, Shelly, Jessica, Kristan. Not pictured: Shaina.
We can’t get enough. Hi Shelly!
Amanda and Jenny are getting up close and personal with the goodies too!
Ok, I certainly took my fair share of pictures too! One of my favorites of the day was this lemon bar! It was cold, creamy, tart and sweet all at the same time. Seriously so yummy!
And then there was this s’mores bar that was straight up ridiculous. Thick graham cracker crust, super thick fudgy chocolate center and topped with toasted marshmallows! Shelly posted a knock-off version of this that looks incredible.
This chocolate peanut butter cupcake was pretty sinful!
Or is this the sinful one? This was a chocolate cupcake filled with a spicy creamy center. I coughed a little bit after trying this one because I’m a woosy!
Their Marilyn Monroe cupcake was the vanilla cupcake with vanilla frosting that won Cupcake Wars. It was pretty perfect.
I don’t remember what kind this one was, but I remember liking it. 🙂 Duh….it’s a cupcake. Doesn’t take much.
Kristan made a copycat recipe for these ginger cookies with cream cheese frosting. We all agreed that this was one of the best cookies we’ve ever tried!
And just for fun, we got a cute little sugar cookie too.
If you’re headed to Austin, be sure to head to Sugar Mama’s to try the cupcakes, lemon bar and s’mores bar! All delish!

So sad I didn’t get to make it to Sugar Mama’s in Austin! I did try out Delish, though, and it certainly lived up to its name! Great pics!
omg, that pic of me! I look so serious!! Too hilarious! I could go for another one of those Marilyn Monroe cupcakes right about now 🙂
Everything looks so delicious! I love visiting bakeries and trying out new treats!
