Is anything better than butter? BROWNED BUTTER!
If you’ve never ever made this, and then mixed it into some frosting–you need to stop what you’re doing and go make this right now. I made this cake a few weeks ago for Better Homes and Gardens blog and just DIED over the results. I love the nutty almost maple flavor that the browned butter gives in the frosting. It’s seriously so tasty! Especially with a little dash of cinnamon on top of super moist cake! Mmm….
If you’re wanting to brown butter, then all you do is throw some into a small saucepan, place it over medium low heat and watch it like a hawk. Once things start looking all golden, then you’re done! Super simple to do and you’ll be amazed at what a difference it makes in all sorts of recipes.

I use butter in a cream sauce with mushroom ravioli.

I put brown butter on everything! I already use land o lake butter on toast it’s Devine! And I love making brown butter soft batch ginger snap cookie!(everyone says they are heaven!)

I always make my husband and kids their favorite….pasta tossed with sauteed chicken breast, fresh garlic and onion in olive oil. But if I won this, I would brown some butter and add that also! I think it would make the recipe even better 🙂

Anything baked! My 7 year old has been allergic to eggs since he was born and we have just now been able to start giving him baked goods with eggs! I’m having so much fun making all sorts of treats for him! He just had his first brownie ever!
