Lauren's Roasted Chicken

A little sweet, a little sticky and a little tangy! This roasted chicken has got all the flavors I love: maple, garlic, lemon and more! Simply marinate and roast. An easy and delicious recipe my family devours!

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon mrs. dash garlic and herbs seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 whole chicken cut into 8 pieces
  • red onion
  • lemon slices


  1. Place all ingredients for marinade into a small bowl and whisk together to combine. Pour over chicken pieces and refrigerate 2 hours {or up to 24 hours}.
  2. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line baking sheet with lemon and onion slices. Place marinated chicken overtop lemon and onion. Brush or spoon over marinade to coat chicken really well.
  3. Bake chicken for 40-45 minutes or until thoroughly cooked. Serve hot.
