Grilled California Club Sandwich
Grilled California Club Sandwiches are out of this world. Bacon with melty cheese, avocado, peppered turkey, buttered bread, and fresh tomatoes!
- 8 slices slices fresh french bread 3/4 inch thick
- 8 tbsp softened butter 1 tbsp per slice of bread
- 8 slices tomato
- 8 slices white cheddar cheese
- 8 cooked bacon
- 16 thin slices deli pepper turkey
- 1 ripe avocado mashed
Preheat griddle to medium low heat. Butter outsides of bread pieces and stack sandwich in between bread with butter facing the outside. Be sure to have the cheese slices flanking the insides of the bread.
Cook on the griddle 3-5 minutes per side or until bread has toasted and cheese has melted. Repeat on other side. Remove from heat, slice and serve.
