  • Preheat the air fryer to 400° F.
  • Place the ribeye steak on a large plate or tray.
  • Drizzle with avocado oil and gently rub to coat both sides.
  • Sprinkle on the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub evenly over the steak.
  • Place the steak in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes on each side for a medium rare finish.
  • Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Storage Directions 

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350° F for 2–3 minutes.
Make Ahead: You can season the steak up to 12 hours in advance. Keep it covered in the fridge until ready to cook.
Freezing: Raw ribeye can be frozen for up to 6 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before seasoning and cooking.
