Brown Sugar Ham Glaze Recipe

Nothing compliments a honey roasted ham more than a sweet and sticky brown sugar ham glaze! You only need four ingredients for this recipe!

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, measure out all ingredients and stir over medium heat.
  • Simmer glaze until sugar melts and becomes syrupy about 1-2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and glaze ham generously, being sure to separate the slices of spiral ham to get glaze into the nooks and crannies. 
  • Bake glazed ham at 425° F for 10 minutes or until sticky and set. Cut slices off the ham and serve warm.

Storage Instructions

  • Make ahead: The glaze can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Reheat gently before using.
  • Storage: Store leftover glaze in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • Freezing: This glaze freezes well for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge and reheat slowly on the stovetop.
