Honey Butter Sesame Salmon

If you like honey butter, then you will love this Honey Butter Sesame Salmon. Slightly sweet with an Asian flair, then topped with sesame seeds!

Ingredients

  • 24 oz fresh salmon 4 portions 6 oz each
  • 1 tablespoon butter softened
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • sesame seeds for garnish, optional
  • parsley for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Line baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray. Dab each salmon filet with paper towels to dry and place on the prepared baking sheet. Set aside.
  • In a small bowl, stir butter, honey, oil, salt, and pepper together until smooth. Spread a thin layer of honey butter mixture over each piece of salmon and bake for 10-12 minutes or until barely cooked.
  • Top with sesame seeds and parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

Storage & Make Ahead

Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For best results, reheat gently at 300° F or in the microwave in short intervals until warmed through.
To freeze, wrap cooled salmon tightly in plastic wrap and place in a freezer-safe container for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
Make ahead tip, stir together the honey butter sesame glaze up to 3 days in advance and store in the refrigerator. Let it soften slightly before spreading.
