I currently shoot with the Canon 6d and love it! It works really well for me and even has video capabilities which I love. I alternate between these lenses, depending on what I’m taking pictures of.

Canon 50mm 1.8f
Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L
I use VSCO for small edits on my iPhone and Adobe Lightroom for the photos I share on the blog.
Nope! Not as of yet I do not. That’s why in the winter months there are less and less step-by-step photos! Because my kitchen is a dark hole.
Why yes I do! It’s my current favorite social media platform. Follow me here.
I’d say every day ingredients extraordinary meals. That was my mantra when I first started my blog and that’s how I cook every day. I use the ordinary ingredients that I have on hand and do my best to turn them into something new and delicious.
Yes, I have LOTS! Check out my post here with google map included 🙂
Gordon is my husband! He’s got big muscles and some killer dimples. The light of my life and the father of my children.
Did that just make things awkward?
We met in college in an English class of all places. We became fast friends. It was love at first sight for me and he fell in love with another girl. Sigh. We still stayed friends. He finally SAW THE LIGHT 3 years later and fell desperately in love with me. We were married in 2007 and the rest is history.
Whenever I make desserts or anything containing carbs and cheese, I usually have a bite or two and then send it off to friends, neighbors, coworkers…really anyone who will take them takes them. I share 🙂 And I also so my best to exercise 5 days a week. I used to really love running, but I’ve most recently gotten into lifting.
Gordon was the one who started my blog! He was taking a web business class that required him to actually create a web business. He couldn’t think of anything so he started me a blog because I had mentioned it once or twice. So, that’s how it was born. I wanted to start a blog because I truly love to create new recipes.
