Strawberry Cookies are similar to chocolate chip cookies but instead, you add strawberries then drizzle with chocolate!
Oh yes. I went there. As if chocolate covered strawberries couldn’t get any better….I’ve shoved them into some cookies and ultimately created a monster. You guys, these are the bomb. Especially all that chocolate drizzled over top. #holyamazingnessbatman Whoever doesn’t like chocolate is crazy. Well, in my opinion, they are–which isn’t saying much. Especially since I’ve been having those moose dreams. I’m not exactly the poster child for sanity.
But that’s neither here nor there.
What I’m trying to say is chocolate is delicious and I use it like crack. Chocolate + strawberries is heavenly. Throw some cookies into the mix and I think I may just pass out. I’ll try to stay conscience for the rest of this post…
Try to get around to making these this long weekend 🙂 The roasted tangy strawberry with the soft sweet cookie and melty chocolate is BLISS. After one bite, these became one of my husband’s favorite cookies EVER {next to these and these.} That’s saying A LOT. And they’re similar to chocolate chip cookies but instead of adding chocolate, you add strawberries. Here’s how you make them:
Start by creaming butter and sugar.
Add some vanilla and an egg {not pictured. duh.}
Once the wet ingredients are all in, stir in all the dry until just combined. Stir the diced fresh strawberries in by hand and refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
Scoop out the chilled dough and bake 🙂 Super easy!
Bake until the edges just barely turn brown. Cool 5 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack.
Melt these chocolate chips with a little milk and drizzle over top of the cookies!
Voila! Fancy looking yummy tasting cookies perfect for Memorial Day! 🙂 Enjoy, friends!

Made these today and they are delicious! I’m carrying them to school tomorrow (about half a mile in the heat) and wasn’t sure how the chocolate drizzle would hold up, so I just added the chocolate chips to the batter! Yummy, but they definitely don’t look as nice as yours. =)

Oh my goodness, that looks soooo good! Thank you for the recipe. We’ll have to try to make it some time soon. It’s too bad fresh strawberries and super expensive in Japan (sometimes around 10 dollars for a basket).
