I recently found a homemade pumpkin spice smoothie/latte recipe that I want to try out. I think that’s what I would make first!

  2. kristin

I follow your feed via email.

Would be awesome to FINALLY get a blender, especially one that matches my glorious orange mixer!

  3. Denise G.

I’d make a low carb frozen blueberry protein smoothie! Liked Kitchen Aid and Lauren’s Latest on FB and followed on Pinterest!

  4. Karen Lynch

I should probably make a green smoothie, however your halloween oreo frozen hot chocolate to celebrate would be the first.

  5. Nicole H.

What’s the first thing you’re going to make with this blender if you win?
Obviously this! It looks so delicious!

I am already following KitchenAid and Lauren’s Latest on facebook. I also now follow both on Twitter. And Lauren’s Latest was the very first that I followed on Pinterest after it auto-added my facebook friends… So yeah. I’m following there, too. ;] I’m also subscribed for emails.

  6. Sarah

  7. Sandy Vincent

I would first make Impossible Pie, you know, the kind with real butter and coconut; can’t you just smell it baking? Love that orange blender 🙂

  8. Emily B.

We have a pancake recipe we love to make – you mix it in the blender, refrigerate it overnight, and give it a quick blend the next morning before cooking

  12. Cathy Howard

I also followed you and kitchenaid on facebook….Cathy Johnson Howard

    unfortunately I don’t twitter or pintrest…sorry

  13. Cathy Howard

I love blender…the fabulous color would totally make my kitchen counter pop! I would love to make a strawberry/blueberry breakfast smoothie. Instead of ice, I use frozen berries so as not to water down my smoothie as it melts. But you need a really good blender to handle chopping those berries, and I know KitchenAid could handle the task!! Thank you both for a totally awesome contest! Happy Halloween!!!!!!

  14. Stacey

What timing, my blender just broke. My son is having mango smoothie withdrawls in the meantime. That will be first on the list!!

  15. Mirtha

a fresh fruit and yogurt smoothie for my son and I. we don’t have a blender at this time, and my little Bullet’s band tore…

  16. Jessie

It’d probably be a toss up between fruit smoothie and your frozen hot chocolate…I’m betting chocolate would win in the end.

  17. Gina

I would make either (a.) homemade babyfood for my little 2 1/2 week old to save for when he’s ready for it, or (b.) a nice, big chocolate milkshake for me…for now. Yep, probably the latter.

  18. kathleen schriber

  19. Cammy Rubin

First thing I want to try in my new Kitchenaid blender is this yummy Halloween Oreo Frozen Hot Chocolate! Second thing would be a few margaritas 🙂 Completed all 5 steps for five entries. <3

  20. Heather

First thing I’d make is popover batter to bake for my husband. We have tons of fresh figs from the tree out back, and I can imagine those delicious baked into popovers.

  21. Alyssa

OMG, if I won, I would make Halloween Oreo Frozen Hot Chocolate in tribute! And then I would probably make a ton of smoothies and milkshakes. 🙂

The first thing I will make is one your your wonderful sounding Halloween drinks and then next usage will be a tasty margarita! I have also subscribed to your blog and hope to find some delicious new recipes to try.

  24. Leslie Rzeznik

Pumpkin puree soup, of course! Despite the color name “Tangerine”, this is the perfect score for fall. Bon appetit! What is YOUR favorite pumpkin soup recipe?

  25. Kim Bloomstrom

The first thing I would make is a nutrious smoothie filled with things that promote good health and discourage cancer cells.

  26. Stephanie Casino

  27. Charlene

I’m going to blend the best smoothie ever! 🙂 frozen bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, orange juice, milk, sugar, vanilla and ice…delicious! I don’t own any kitchenaid products in my home, but I would love to have a first! 🙂 I hear great things about them! Love your recipes, Lauren!

  28. Tanya

Definitely some great fall soups first~ like baked potato or black bean, it’d be so much easier with a blender than my one cup chopper!

  29. Frances

My boyfriend and I love to make smoothies for breakfast or even a post-workout snack. So I think that the first thing I would make with this would definitely be a wonderful fruit smoothie. And then I would be dying to try the sweet concoction from up above — Halloween Oreo Frozen Hot Chocolate. YUMM 🙂

  38. Ginny Sargent

For one entry to “What’s the first thing you’re going to make with this blender if you win?” I think you made me crave the oreo confection!!!!

  39. Rachel

I would make berry smoothies for my family. They are one of our favorite sweet treats, and I could use a better blender to make them in. 🙂

  40. Maggie

I would make a spinach smoothie, I used to make them all the time, but my blender is so old and doesn’t blend enough so I stopped.

  41. Sarah

  50. Jenn C

Though I will not stop without a delicious smoothie, my first order of business would be using it to make butternut squash soup for the holidays! Yum.

  51. Schmidty

The first thing I would make is a chocolate malt milkshake, not low fat, not fat free, but the wholly dangerous kind – full fat. 🙂

  52. Brinna Boese

The first thing I would make with my new KitchenAid blender would have to be some smoothies!!! I am a smoothie fiend! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the giveaway!

  58. Emily @ Life on Food

I would make one of these babies. I guess I am slow to the whole frozen hot chocolate trend. I thought you had to buy the fancy mix that costs a ton from Serendipity. Love this!

The first thing I’d make with that blender would be to make a peanut butter chocolate milkshake with some brownie bits mixed up in there!

  60. Kristen

I would make pesto to freeze for the winter with the last of my basil! My blender now just isn’t good enough and the pesto turns out too leafy.

  61. Alli

This frozen hot chocolate looks like a good place to start! I knew someone who used to add a little pina colada mix to their oreo shakes. Mmmm!

  75. courtney

Smoothies with tons of fruit. As delightful as your frozen treats looks, I’m hoping for a blender to cut down on my Jamba Juice habit

  76. Amber

I will be making smoothies if I win the blender. Mine is over 10 years old and smells of burning rubber when I use it!!!! I could use a nice KitchenAid one.

  77. Katie Lynn

The first thing I would make would have to be that milkshake or a smoothie! My blender now can barely crush ice…so I always have chunky smoothies 😉

  85. Lynn b

The FIRST thing I am going to make would be a frozen hot chocolate using my serendipity3 mix! Mmmmm… then followed by lots of these moreover ones and Baby food! It is about that time again to make baby food at my house! Glamarous! Huh?!

Those look so yummy! And completely perfect for the halloween season. I totally understand your brainfreeze problems, happens to me all the time 🙂

  87. Rachel J

Hi Lauren! I am going to make THIS. I just picked up some halloween oreos at target to make some halloween chocolate bark, but I’m sure I can spare a few for this delicious concoction!

  88. amy beth marantino

what a clever idea to use a packet of hot cocoa mix with Oreos. i had been using (milk) chocolate syrup, but found it too sweet. the different flavor from the cocoa mix seems like it would work much better. i can’t wait to try it. thanks for the idea!

    1. Brittany Newhouse

I will most DEFINITELY be making your featured Halloween frozen hot chocolate which sounds absolutely divine, with orange Oreos of course, to match the orange KitchenAid Blender!
