Thai Chicken Pizza has all the flavors you love about Thai food and is loaded with veggies. Not to mention it has a killer peanut sauce too!
Thai Chicken Pizza | Your New Favorite
I once made this Thai Pizza and ate the whole thing with my husband for dinner. #notashamed It was covered in veggies so it was completely acceptable. I said it serves four in the recipes {which it totally could}, but my husband and I just happened to be starving. And this was out of this world delicious which made it hard to stop shoving into my pie hole. Moral of the story: make this and DO NOT share.
Main Ingredients Needed
Thai Chicken Pizza is a super easy recipe that has a couple of components to it. We have the dough and sauce, cheese and meat, toppings, and peanut sauce! Although it has multiple parts to it, you can whip up this pizza in 30 minutes or so.
- Pizza Dough – I really like using my pizza dough recipe, which makes enough dough for one large pizza or two medium. Or try using my Whole Wheat Pizza Dough.
- Sauce – I used a sweet chili sauce from Trader Joe’s to line the bottom of the pizza. It’s the perfect burst of flavor with all of the fresh veggies on top.
- Cheese and Meat – any lightly flavored cheese would do, I chose mozzarella. And I used leftover chicken for my protein. Feel free to use rotisserie chicken for an even faster meal.
- Toppings – instead of cooking these in the oven with the pizza, I like to add them fresh over top. This creates a nice blend of textures and flavors.
- Peanut Sauce – what kind of Thai recipe would this be without peanut sauce! If you are allergic to nuts, by all means, leave this out.
How to Make Thai Chicken Pizza
You can either make this pizza in the oven or over the grill! All these options I give you, so generous. Anyways, you’re going to bake the pizza, then top with veggies and the peanut sauce. So easy! For full recipe details see the recipe card down below.
Step 1: Preheat Oven Then Bake
Preheat the oven. Grab about 1 lb. of pizza dough and spread it onto a baking sheet sprinkled with cornmeal. {Or just use parchment paper.} Spread some sweet chili sauce over the whole thing…as much or as little as you’d like.
Then top with grated cheese and some cubed chicken. {I had this leftover from a previous dinner.} Pop into a hot oven and let ‘er rip.
Step 2: Toppings
While the Thai Chicken Pizza is cooking, chop up some peppers, carrots, green onion, and cilantro. If you hate any of these veggies, simply sub them out or leave them out altogether.
The other topping is chopped peanuts, which adds a great crunch to each bite.
Step 3: Peanut Sauce
Also! Make a sweet peanut sauce too! Basically, you just measure everything out and stir. Don’t forget the salt and pepper!
Soooo, right about now the Thai Chicken pizza should be hot and bubbly! Pull it from the oven and top with your veggies, peanuts, and sauce.
Hello gorgeous!

Lauren, do you purchase your sweet chili sauce at TJ’s? Just curious, that’s where I’ve been getting mine. Thx! Your pizza looks really good!

My favorite flavors, all on a pizza! come to mama! cant wait to try this! 🙂
YUM! This reminds me of the Thai chicken Pizza at CPK which I LOVE!
I will make this and I will not share! 🙂
Ha..Ha.. I love the word heebie geebies.. I totally had heebie geebies today when my friend showed me a video of some frog legs sprinkled with salt (still totally freaking out )! The pizza looks amazing, totally pinning for later!
I’m glad to finally hear someone share my completely rational fear & loathing of spiders! I hate them with all the passion I can muster.
This pizza looks incredible Lauren – definitely adding it to our Fun Food Friday menu 🙂
I’m the spider relocator in our house because the boyfriend (who is over 6ft and 200lbs) won’t touch them and screams like a baby goat when faced with anything arachnid in nature. Uh huh. I keep him around because he takes care of any lizard infiltrators. We live Australia. Lizards happen. All.the.time. #grossgrossgross
I suppose I should pay him back for our recent lizard issue with some thai chicken pizza. Carb credit? It’s a thing, right?
Our house has tons of spiders and my husband doesn’t like to kill them since apparently they are good for the eco-system. Not like I care. I should tempt him with this pizza to get him to go spider killing for me.
beautiful!!!
[spiders are evil. that’s all.]
You write the best posts! I was laughing at your transition into the recipe… We love Thai chicken pasta here and I’m really intrigued by the fact that you put the flavors on a pizza. We WILL be trying this!
Nothing gets me faster than a spider…really dislike and fear! OK…have been wanting to try your pizza crust and I have my version of thai pizza…willing to try yours…looks delicious. think I would have to make half thai and half some kind of bbq chicken pizza with ranch for my son….
Yeah, we did a personal pepperoni pizza for my daughter. She did take a few bites to try it though 🙂
Looks yummy. I will make this soon =)
I hate sweet pickles as much as I hate spiders, and my five-year-old pickle-loving daughter told me at a birthday party Monday that she didn’t want the rest of her cake but wanted a big pickle. While eating it said, “sweet pickles are gross.” I don’t know where she’s seen/eaten a sweet pickle, but clearly we have a lot in common.
haha! That’s awesome!
I’d just like to say that I love you for using the words “heebie-jeebies.” Love that phrase, and that spider business is seriously the definition! Ewww! I’d need at least 6 slices of this pizza goodness to recover.
Oh my gosh!! What would you have done if your husband wasn’t home!? The big bugs only come out when I’m alone – I usually have to just leave the house after horrible attempts of covering said bug with a [not clear] cup.
Um, I would have died!! Duh!! Lol!
