Sweet, fresh cream and a brownie mix are combined to make a decadent and delicious homemade Brownie Batter Ice Cream. All the creaminess of homemade ice cream mixed with the flavors of unbaked Brownies.
Brownie Batter Ice Cream | Perfect for Summer!
Brownie Batter Ice Cream. Holy hannah, is this a decadent ice cream, or what? And amazing. And a little on the ridiculous side. With ingredients like heavy cream and brownie mix, I expect no less.
Anyways, you all MUST make this. I think everyone everywhere would like a scoop of this summer! I also take full responsibility for any extra weight you may gain from consuming more than 1 serving. It’s irresistible….especially fresh out of the ice cream maker {my favorite!}
Main Ingredients Needed
You don’t need much to make this amazing Brownie Batter Ice Cream! Here’s everything:
- Heavy Whipping Cream + Whole Milk – these two create a creamy fatty base. So good!
- Sugar – used to sweeten.
- Vanilla – for flavor.
- Salt – to offset some of the sweet.
- Cocoa Powder – for chocolatey flavor.
- Brownie Mix – to create the brownie batter flavor! This has flour and other thickeners in it as well so no need for extra cornstarch or an egg base.
- Mini Chocolate Chips – I used these to garnish the ice cream, totally optional!

Place frozen ice cream bowl and paddle onto machine and cover with clear lid. Turn machine on and pour ice cream base through the top of machine into the moving bowl.
Churn until frozen and smooth.

What do you use for thickener? Usually , ice cream bases have eggs or cornstarch. Thank you.
