Brown Butter Chicken Alfredo Pizza is a cheesy, herby, carby match made in heaven kind of recipe! Oh, and it’s super easy to make! YUM.
Chicken Alfredo Pizza | Easy (!!!)
This Chicken Alfredo Pizza is the freakin’ bomb dot com. I used my fail-proof pizza dough recipe, half of my brown butter alfredo recipe, leftover rotisserie chicken, and some Italian Blend pre-grated cheese. Super simple to throw together, minimal ingredients, and oh Bessie, could I drink that brown butter alfredo down like water.
Main Ingredients Needed
You only need 8 ingredients to make this incredible pizza! So easy and quick, just prepare ahead of time and you’ll be golden. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Pizza Dough – this pizza dough recipe is seriously fail-proof, you really have to try to mess up in order to do so. Perfectly chewy but still crunchy at the bottom. Or use my Whole Wheat Pizza Dough Recipe for a healthier option.
- Butter, Heavy Cream, Parmesan, S+P – it may sound fancy but this sauce is really simple to make and so good. Creamy, cheesy, it’s the perfect sauce for this pizza, or even if you want to make alfredo pasta.
- Rotisserie Chicken – you can use freshly made chicken if you wanted.
- Italian Cheese Blend – this blend of cheese perfectly compliments this chicken alfredo pizza recipe.
- Italian Seasoning – a little herby goodness goes a long way!
Variations
If you’re looking to add some greens into your diet try adding spinach and/or artichoke hearts to this recipe.
Bacon is also a good option, but not green… Or keep it simple, your choice.
How to Make Alfredo Pizza
You could always make this pizza in the oven or try grilling it for a different type of taste! You won’t regret it.
Step 1: Preheat the Oven and Make the Sauce
Preheat the oven.
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Swirl pan occasionally to brown milk solids in the butter. Once the butter starts to turn a medium brown color, turn heat to low and immediately pour in the cream. Pan will sizzle, but as you stir it will subside.
Sprinkle in cheese and continue stirring until cheese is completely melted and sauce is smooth. Taste and add salt and lots of pepper, as desired. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 2: Prepare Pizza
Spread pizza dough out to a large circle. Spread half of the alfredo sauce onto the pizza dough. Toss rotisserie chicken in the rest of the sauce to moisten and top pizza with chicken. Sprinkle with cheese and Italian seasoning.
Step 3: Bake then Serve!
Bake 8-10 minutes or until the crust is crispy and the cheese has browned slightly. Serve!
Leftover Chicken Alfredo Pizza
Any leftovers you have can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Chicken alfredo pizza is such a good dinner and then lunch for the next day!
