Brown Butter Chicken Alfredo Pizza is a cheesy, herby, carby match made in heaven kind of recipe! Oh, and it’s super easy to make! YUM.

Brown Butter Chicken Alfredo Pizza is the freakin’ bomb dot com. I used my fail-proof pizza dough recipe, half of my brown butter alfredo recipe, leftover rotisserie chicken and some Italian Blend pre-grated cheese. Super simple to throw together, minimal ingredients and oh Bessie, could I drink that brown butter alfredo down like water.

Pizza Dough

My fail-proof pizza dough recipe is made up of water, yeast, honey, salt, olive oil, and bread flour. It seriously is fail-proof, you really have to try to mess up in order to do so. Perfectly chewy but still crunchy at the bottom. This pizza dough goes great with any sauce and any toppings.

Brown Butter Alfredo Sauce

It may sound fancy but this sauce is really simple to make and so good. Made with butter, heavy cream, parmesan, salt, and pepper. Creamy, cheesy, it’s the perfect sauce for this pizza, or even if you want to make alfredo pasta.

Pizza Toppings

I topped this pizza with rotisserie chicken but you can use freshly made chicken if you wanted. It is also topped with an Italian blend of grated cheese and Italian seasoning.

If you’re looking to add some greens into your diet try adding spinach and/or artichoke hearts to this recipe. Bacon is also a good option, but not green… Or keep it simple, your choice.

You don’t necessarily need side dishes with alfredo pizza but if you’re feeling it here are some ideas:

How to Make Alfredo Pizza

You could always make this pizza in the oven or try grilling it for a different type of taste! You won’t regret it.

  1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Swirl pan occasionally to brown milk solids in the butter. Once the butter starts to turn a medium brown color, turn heat to low and immediately pour in the cream. Pan will sizzle, but as you stir it will subside. Sprinkle in cheese and continue stirring until cheese is completely melted and sauce is smooth. Taste and add in salt and lots of pepper, as desired. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Spread pizza dough out to a large circle. Spread half of the alfredo sauce onto the pizza dough. Toss rotisserie chicken in the rest of the sauce to moisten and top pizza with chicken. Sprinkle with cheese and Italian seasoning.
  4. Bake 8-10 minutes or until the crust is crispy and the cheese has browned slightly. Serve!

Leftover Alfredo Pizza

Any leftover you have can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Alfredo pizza is such a good dinner and then lunch for the next day!

Ingredients

for the alfredo sauce-

  • 1/4 cup salted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • salt & pepper to taste

for the pizza-

  • 1 lb. fail-proof pizza dough
  • 1 1/2 cups cubed rotisserie chicken
  • 2 cups Italian Blend grated cheese
  • Italian seasoning to taste

    I made your pizza dough and the brown butter alfredo chicken pizza recipes and it was AMAZING! The pizza had so much flavor and so tasty.
