Guys, I think I am going to die from how easy this recipe is to make. Seriously just die. Only five ingredients….mixed up in a bowl…that takes 5 minutes to make…that ends up tasting good enough to sell your first born child….Ohhh emmm gee.
This is a super-fancy-super-easy-rather-delightful-anyone-can-make-this kind of thing. An amazing schmear for that bagel/sandwich/cracker you so conveniently happen to have in your hand. I just KNEW you’d have your half made lunch ready and waiting for me!
Did I ever tell you I’m psychic? Well I am {not}.
So, what goes into this Lemon & Garlic Herb Cream Cheese? I bet you could guess….
Lemon?
Garlic?
Herbs?
Ok this is embarrasing.
Basically yes. And you forgot to say cream cheese, smarty pants.
All you do is throw all these ingredients into a bowl and stir. The lemon and garlic combo with the cold and creamy cream cheese is taste bud heaven. And the parsley and chives adds a nice little zing too. Scroll down to see what I made with this cream cheese…
Now, without further ado, I give you the step by step photos…try not to laugh at how simple all this is. Please and thank you. Sincerely, Me.
Start by chopping some parsley,
some chives,
and zesting a lemon and mincing up some garlic.
Now, prepare yourself for the insanity. Not really. All you do is take a little cream cheese….
and toss in all those prepped ingredients. Add some salt and pepper….
and stir it up!! Super duper easy!
And super delicious too!! I think I mentioned that once or twice already.
Especially spread thick onto one of these babies.
I ended up making a little open faced turkey sammy of sorts with this flavored cream cheese, smoked mesquite turkey and some micro greens. SO yummy and perfect for a snack, light lunch or appetizers for a party! How cute would these be at a baby shower or bridal luncheon?
These turkey sammies are also quite delectable on the thinner variety. This is actually my favorite flavor. I’m a sesame sucker.
They’re super thin, crispy and delicious! I could eat these guys plain! {Which I do! 🙂 }
So, pick up some herbs, turkey and Wasa Crispbreads and make these over the weekend! Or enter to win a Wasa prize pack below!! Here’s the printable for the flavored cream cheese spread and the little turkey sammies:
For the Open Faced Turkey & Herb Flatbread Sammies, simply spread 1 tablespoon of the Lemon & Garlic Herb Cream Cheese over 1 wasa crisp bread and top with smoked deli turkey and micro greens {or alf alfa sprouts, spinach, etc.}
