Here are 35+ delicious dishes to serve with White Rice! Alright, let’s talk about white rice – the unsung hero of so many meals. My Famous Butter Rice is the most buttery, delicious rice dish you’ve ever had and it’s the best way to make it in my opinion. Whether you’re craving a cozy dinner or planning a feast fit for a crowd, knowing what goes best with white rice can take your meal from ‘meh’ to ‘wow.’ Get ready to dive into a world of flavor combos that’ll make your taste buds do a happy dance!

Butter rice: perfectly cooked grains of rice infused with the richness of butter, and the savory goodness of chicken broth (or vegetable broth) each bite a delicate balance of comforting flavors. This simple yet heavenly dish takes the humble rice to a whole new level. Whether served alongside a flavorful curry or enjoyed as a standalone delight, butter rice is a celebration of simplicity and taste that never fails to satisfy.

No rice cooker? No problem! You can make this recipe with a large saucepan!

If you are using white rice this Butter Rice Recipe can stay good for up to 6 days in the fridge and up to 6 months in the freezer. (Make sure to keep in an airtight container in the fridge.) Alternatively, if you are using brown rice for this recipe, it will last up to 5 days in the fridge and 2 months in the freezer. Which makes this the perfect recipe for meal prepping or a weeknight dinner! Leftover rice is also great for fried rice, so if you love the takeout classic save your leftovers for later!

Another great way to use plain rice is to make a rice dish! Whether it’s rice pilaf, fried rice or rice casserole there are so many ways to incorporate your plain old rice. If you’re looking for something sweet, you should try rice pudding as a dessert!
